 Ndifumene ubunzima ukufumana ilizwi emandilisebenzise ukuvula leNkomfa yesikolo seCawa. Ndiphawule ukuba eyonanto indenzele ubunzima kukuba kumaxesha amaninzi silibona ilizwi likaThixo lingenanto liyithethayo nabantwana ngaphandle kwelizwi eliqhelekileyo esiye silikhankanye xa sikwinkonzo yobhaptizo   lwabantwana, lizwi elo elifumaneka kwi ncwadi zevangeli ezintathu uMateyu, uMarko noLuka elithi ‘bavumeleni abantwana beze kum ningabaleli kuba ubukumkani bukaThixo bubobabo banjalo’ Kwingqiqo yabantu abaninzi lelolizwi kuphela elithetha liquke nabantwana kwincwadi yeBhayibhile.

Namhlanje umoya kaThixo undithuma kweli lizwi lokuthunywa kwabafundi nguYesu xa ezibonakalisa kubo kumhlaba waseGalili emveni kokuvuka kwakhe ekufeni. UVuko lukaYesu kubhaliwe ngalo kuzo zone incwadi zevangeli kodwa yivangeli kaMateyu nevangeli kaMarko ezinalamazwi okuthunywa kwabafundi ehlabathini kuzo zonke iintlanga.  Ukuhlangana kwakhe nabo eGalili kuzalisekiseka amazwi awayewathethile kubo uYesu engekafi ehleli nabo abafundi bakhe kwiPasika yakhe yokugqibela enabo kwigumbi eliphezulu ’esithi emveni kokuvuka kwam, ndiya kunandulela ndiye kwelaseGalili’ (Mtt26:32). Uthuma ke abafundi elizweni ngaphandle kocalucalulo uthi kubo ‘hambani niye kuzenza abafundi zonke iintlanga, nibabhaptizela egameni loYise, loNyana, loMoya oyiNgcwele: nibafundisa ukuba bazigcine zonke izinto endiniwisele umthetho ngazo’

Yivangeli ke le ngokubhalwa nguMateyu umJuda umfo owayefudula engumqokeleli weRafu ngokwabaphengulile bezibhalo. UMateyu ngomnye wabafundi bakaYesu abalishumi elinanye bokuqala. Kuvakala ukuba umvangeli uMateyu usebenzise ivangeli kaMarko njengesinye sezisele athe wafunxa kuzo ulwazi xa ebebhala le vangeli yakhe. Nangona ivangeli kaMarko ilandela ivangeli kaMateyu ngokwendlela ezivezwa ngayo zizibhalo kodwa ivangeli kaMarko ibhalwe kuqala kune vangeli kaMateyu ngokwabaphengululi bezibhalo kungoko athe uMateyu wayisebenzisa ukuqokelela ulwazi. Andizukungena kulo umhlaba wokuphikisana kwengcali ezingayamkeliyo le ngcamango yokubhalwa kwalevangeli nguMateyu kuba ethe enguMpostile wancedwa yivangeli kaMarko owayengenguye yena uMpostile.

 Ingxoxo yezingcali zingamvumiyo umvangeli uMateyu nje ngombhali wale vangeli yakhe ithi xa wayekho uMateyu ehamba noYesu kwakutheni lento ukubhala kwakhe kungaxhomekeki kwinkumbulo nanjengomntu owayekho izinto ezibona ngamehlo zisenzeka ade ancedwe nguMarko owabhala yena engenguye uMpostile nto nje ebhala yena exhomekeke kwintshumayelo zikaMpostile uPetrose. Mandidlule kulendima yempikiswano phakathi kwabaphengululi bezibhalo malunga nokubhalwa kwalevangeli kuba kakade oko kungazukusincedisa ekusondeleni ebukumkanini bukaThixo nakumxholo walentetho yam. Ntonje emandiyiveze kukuba uMateyu kuthwa wayengumJuda umfo wasePalestina owayesazi ngokuchubekileyo isiHebhere nesiGrike enomdla kakhulu kumabali nemfundiso zikaYesu Krestu ngokukodwa ezo zinento enokwenza nemali.

Ixesha ebhalwe ngalo le vangeli kaMateyu nalo linengxoxo mpikiswano kuphengululo lwezibhalo. Kodwa kunjalo zikhona izinto eziqaphelekayo ezizezi: 1. UMvangeli uyasikhankanya isiprofetho sikaYesu malunga nokuwa kwendonga zeJerusalem zitshiswa ngumlilo (Mtt 22:7) 2. Isiprofetho sokudilika kweTempile (Mtt 24:2). Ngenxa yeziziprofetho zikaYesu zikhankanywe ngasentla uqikelelo  luthi le vangeli ibhalwe phakathi kwinkulungwane yokuqala.

Ngokwenene ukudilika kwendonga zeJerusalem neTempile yabakukuzaliseka kwezinto uYesu awayezithethile njengoko ivangeli kaMateyu isibalisela. Ubhala ke uMvangeli ngexesha amaKrestu aphithizeliswa ngabaSadusi nabaFarasi beshumayela, befundisa imfundiso ezahlukeneyo kodwa ezazinobungozi zombini ngokwahlukana kwazo kwinkolo yobukrestu. Ukonga amaxesha andizungena kwimfundiso ezinxaxhileyo zalamaqela ezaziyityhefu yokuyichitha inkonzo kaThixo iphele ivuthuluke ingabikho.

 AbaFarasi baba yingxaki kumakrestu ithuba lenkulungwane befana nesilonda esiqaqambayo esinyangwayo kodwa singapholi. AbaSadusi ngo A.D. 70 ngexesha lokuhlaselwa kweJerusalem yiRoma banyamalala yashiyeka inkonzo ijongene nabaFarasi amaxoki; izikhohlakali athi uYohane umbhabhatizi xa ebabona kunye nabaSadusi beguquka besamkela usiko lobhaptizo kumlambo iYordan benikwa uphawu lokwamkela uYesu njengeNkosi noMsindisi, athi uYohane kuba uyabazi ukuba ngantu beziphithiphithi, abantu abangapholanga, abantu abangalufuniyo uxolo, abantu abangenanyani, abantu abangathembekanga, abantu abangeneliyo, abantu abanentiyo nomsindo ngalo lonke ixesha, abantu abangenalo uthando ’Nzala ndini yamarhamba, ngubani na onibonisileyo ukuba niyibaleke ingqumbo ezayo? Velisani ngoko iziqhamo eziyifaneleyo inguquko;’ Inkonzo maRabe isasokola nanamhlanje isokoliswa ngabaFarasi nanaSadusi abalapha ngaphakathi eCaweni intonayo abanambhalo abachazayo ukuba bangobani na. Ababantu balapha ngokwenkangeleko yeziqu zabo intliziyo zabo zona zikwezinye indawo apho umtyholi adibana nabo khona. 

Ubhala uMvangeli ebhalela amaKrestu akwaJuda (Jewish Christians) awayehlala ePalestina nakwimimandla engaphandle kwePalestina. Ubhala umVangeli enenjongo zokukhusela amaKrestu ukuze imfundiso engeyiyo yabaSadusi nabaFarsi ingabi nakubonakalisa ibahlukanise noKrestu. Wayenenjongo zokubaqinisekisa ukuba uYesu Krestu unguye uMesiya owayelindiwe ngamaJuda. He wanted to assure them that Jesus Christ was the Messiah whom the Jews were expecting. Wayefuna umvangeli ukuba amaKrestu afumane imbali ngobomi bukaYesu abenolwazi ngezinto awayezifundisa nenjongo zokufundisa kwakhe. Nanjengoko kukho ingcamango ethi amaKrestu amandulo ayenomnqweno wokuyazi imbali ngoKrestu. Wayenenjongo umvangeli uMateyu wokuwomeleza amaKrestu angoyiki abenesixhobo sokuvangela engenadyudyu engagungqi angahlehli abuyele emva.

Simbamba namhlanje umvangeli uMateyu kulenkomfa esibalisela ngendibano kaYesu nabafundi bakhe eGalili emveni kokuvuka kwakhe ekufeni. Sidibana naye kanye xa ebathuma ebanika umyalelo, ethi hambani ngoko niye kuzenza abafundi zonke iintlanga nibabhaptizela egameni loYise, loNyana neloMoya Oyingcwele: nibafundisa ukuba bazigcine zonke izinto endiniwisele umthetho ngazo. Uyesu ubathuma abazalwana elizweni kuzo zonke iintlanga ukuba bayekushumayela, bafundise engacalucalulanga ngokweminyaka okanye nangaluphi na uhlobo localucalulo. Eyam ingqiqo namhlanje ithi ngalemini uYesu anika lomyalelo engqondweni yakhe phakathi kwabantu ekwakufuneka benziwe abafundi, bebhaptiziwe befundisiwe ukuba bagcine imithetho kaThixo nabantwana bentlanga zonke babekhona eqeleni bebandakanyiwe nguKrestu kulomyalelo. Children were included in the Great Commission.

 Le ngcamango yam iyangqinwa ngamazwi  akhankanywe ngasentla kule ntetho yam afumaneka kwivangeli ezintathu uMateyu, uMarko noLuka ethethwa nguYesu ngokwakhe ekwinkonzo yobeko lwezandla baza abazali bezisa abantwana ukuba abachukumise baza abafundi babakhalimela abo babazisayo wathi akuyibona uYesu lonto wathi ‘Bavumeleni abantwana beze kum ningabaleli kuba ubukumkani bukaThixo bubobabo banjalo’ Kulapha kulamazwi apho inkonzo yobhabhatizo lwabantwana isekelwe khona uYesu ezekelisa ngentliziyo elungelene nobukumnkani bukaThixo ukuba yileyo ifana nentliziyo yomntwana. Siyithathaphi thina lento yokungabakhathaleli abantwana enkonzweni yethu sibacalucalula kuba bengekafikeleli kwiminyaka yokuzithethela. Le mfundiso yokungabahoyi abantwana kwelibandla lethu siyifumana ndawoni apha kwizibhalo ezingcwele?

 Kwincwadi yeMfuduko yamaSirayeli isahluko seshumi ukumkani uFaro xa ekhulula amaSirayeli uthi kuMoses noAron intsapho yenu ihamba nani oko kukuthi abantwana benu bahamba nani, ezinye inguqulelo zebhayibhile zithi uLutsha lwenu luhamba nani. Ndithanda ibhayibhile yesilungu (The holy bible, Authorized or King James Version which says on chapter ten vers 24) ’let your little ones also go with you’ AmaSirayeli aphuma eYiputha ekhululwa nguThixo ewasa eKanana kwilizwe ledinga ilizwe lobusi namasi. Kuthwa kumaSirayeli lutshaba lwawo uFaro ’abantwana benu bahamba nani’. UFaro wayenayo intliziyo yokuwathimbela imfuyo yawo yonke amaSirayeli isale kuye ngasemva ibelilifa lakhe namaYiputha kodwa abantwana bona wabakhulula ukuba bahambe nabazali xa beyakukhonza uThixo wabo. Kolu thina uhambo siluhambayo lubheka eKanana eside ngamanye amaxesha sicule nokucula ngayo ikhorasi sibuza kuMoses ukuba uyayibona na iKanana, baphi thina abantwana bethu? Where are our little ones?

 Ndiyazi ukuba sikhuthele ukubabhaptiza kodwa andiqinisekanga ukuba siyayenza imizamo yokuba sibenze abafundi nokuthi sibafundise imithetho kaThixo. Yonke imihla ngeCawa abanye bethu bashiya abantwana abancinci ngasemva sibheke ezinkonzweni siyekukhonza uThixo. Ndifuna ukuba simke kulenkomfa sisiya emakhaya sisazi ukuba xa sishiya abantwana ngasemva sisiya enkonzweni sophula umthetho kaThixo. Sinoxanduva lokuba abantwana sibabhaptize, sibenze abafundi bakaKrestu sibafundise zonke izinto uThixo asiwisele umthetho ngazo. That is our responsibility as believers in Christ, as Christians, as followers of Jesus Christ. Ngumsebenzi lo esingamelanga kudinwa nguwo ngoba ngundoqo othunywe iCawa ehlabathini kuzo zonke iintlanga. The Great Commission is the core business of the church in the world to all nations.

In a book called Breakthrough: Small Sunday School Work compiled by Daryl Heath he talks about the Great Commission under a subheading ‘Make a Commitment to Reach People’ I like him when he says ‘It is important to note that doing the Great Commission is not an option. It is not a suggestion or an afterthought of our Lord; it is not a plea on His part. It is rather a clear, direct, positive, and irrevocable command. It is a church’s mandate, our holy must’ He goes further and say ‘Our Lord has no other plan; he has chosen one way: that His followers spread the gospel to the people of the earth. As disciples under the Cross, we are to be committed and obedient to the Great Commission. We are to proclaim the gospel to the whole creation. This is the evangelical mandate of the church. The apostles could not accomplish the mission alone. The believers were and are included. That is why the Sunday school has such a vital part in doing mission. The Sunday school tasks come out of the mission of the church. The Sunday School’s part is to mobilize and organize believers in doing mission’

In conclusion beautiful Presbyterians when you build a house of your dreams that you like, you first dig a trench and build a strong foundation so that your house lasts for years without problems. You choose the building material and the builder who must do the job. Once the builder starts you watch him each and every step until the work is completed. Isikolo seCawa sisiseko yiFoundation, kulapho kufuneka siqine khona maRabe. Isixhosa sithi umhlambi ongenawo umgqeku awunakamva akho kukhula akukho kwanda ungamhle okomzuzwana kuba awubheki ndawo. ISunday school noLutsha kumele maRabe sizibeke phambili ukuba sizimisele ukuba leCawa siyakhe ibuyele kubuqaqawuli bayo bokuqala. Abantwana besikolo seCawa ngabo abaluLutsha lwangomso ngabo abalumanyano lweNtombi lwangomso. ISunday school noLutsha likamva lebandla nakweyiphi na iCawa  Xa ndithetha ngoLutsha mna nakwibandla endikulo ndiquka neGCA amantombazana.

Ndihlaba ikhwelo kubefundisi ukuba elowo nalowo makaqinisekise ukuba ebandleni alikhokelayo iSikolo seCawa siyaqhuba futhi siyaphila. Ngokomgaqo wenkonzo yethu iSikolo seCawa lisebe eliphantsi koLutsha. Kodwa kunjalo masiyazi into yokuba iSunday school luxanduva lwethu sonke. ISeshoni kufuneka zibone ukuba iSunday school ebandleni iyaqhuba. Oomama mababone ukuba iSunday school iyaqhuba. IDeacon’s court, imanyano zonke, amalungu eCawa onke emabandleni, kwiPresbyteries, nakundlu nkulu mazithabathe uxanduva lokuncedisa iSunday school ngemali ukuze izinto zayo zonke ziphumelele. Abantwana bafuna umntu onothando, onomonde, onobubele, ozeka kade umsindo, umntu ongonyanyiyo umntu ozinikeleyo emsebenzini wakhe wabantwana. Ikamva laleCawa uThixo ulibeke ezandleni zenu zenincede ke ningamphoxi kuba yena ukhethe nina kuba enithembile esazi ukuba amandla nesakhono sokuwenza lomsebenzi ninawo unixhobisile. Ikomiti ezisemabandleni zeSunday school ndiyazibongoza ziwunyamekele umsebenzi osemagxeni azo zibeluncedo, zikhathale zibaxhase otitshala beSunday school.

Egameni leNgqungquthela yamaRabe Ahlaziyiweyo ndiyazibulela ikomiti zonke ezichaphazelekayo kunye notitshala beSunday school ngomsebenzi asele wenziwe ndisithi phambili maRab’ amnyama andlela zimhlophe kufa’yayo nto zakuthi. Hambani ngoko maRabe niye kuzenza abafundi zonke iintlanga, nibabhaptizela egameni loYise, loNyana, loMoya oyiNgcwele: nibafundisa ukuba bazigcine zonke izinto uThixo aniwisele umthetho ngazo’ Manikhumbule ke maRabe ngamaxesha onke ukuba uKrestu wabamema abantwana ukuba beze ebukumnkanini bukaThixo wathi abakuxhamla bebadala koboKumnkani  ngabo intliziyo zabo zifana neyomntwana. Sikhumbule ukuba xa ethuma abafundi kuzo zonke intlanga zange abenacalucalulo ngokweminyaka lonto ithethe ukuthi nabantwana wababandakanya.
